PAW Mombasa is managed by two Directors
Nusrat Mohammed
She has rescued cats since she was 7 years old and is an avid animal welfare and environment conservation activist. Her main focus over the years have been on humane dog/cat population control in Mombasa county, marine forests restoration and accessibility of rabies vaccinations and awareness of zoonotic diseases in low income communities. She is an NLP Practitioner and Certified Couples and Family therapist.
DR Mohammed Umlai
Dr Umlai a Senior Vet in Kwale County and the current Kenya Coast Association – Coast branch Chairman. He is passionate about reducing the burden of zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial-resistant infections and improve human and animal health. He is also a climate activist on how Climate change impacts our society by disrupting the natural, economic and social systems
